It was a special evening honoring DCVLP’s Co-Founders, Jenny Brody, Karen Barker Marcou, and Marla Spindel in celebration of the organization’s 15th anniversary.

We were pleased to recognize Covington & Burling LLP & Amazon as our Pro Bono and Corporate Partners of the Year, respectively, for their impactful contributions on behalf of domestic violence survivors and at-risk children in our community.

Guests also heard from DCVLP’s clients, staff, and supporters, including our 2023 Champion of Justice, James Smith-Williams, Defensive End of the Washington Commanders, who is an outspoken advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
