(Training) Safety for Survivors: Litigating Family Law Cases

March 3, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm

This training will prepare you to represent victims in court and help them find long-term safety and stability. Volunteers gain experience with a full range of litigation skills, including trial advocacy, discovery, and negotiation.

Topics will include:

  • Dynamics of domestic violence
  • Overview of custody, child support, and divorce law
  • Family Law practice and procedure
