Volunteer Opportunities
- Represent survivors in obtaining Civil Protection Orders (CPOs) to ensure their safety and independence.
- Assist clients in complex family law matters, including custody, divorce, and child support, helping survivors build stable futures.
- Serve as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem (GAL) representing the best interests of at-risk children.
- Provide legal services to immigrant survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence.
- Offer brief legal advice to survivors in our clinics, where they can receive guidance on protection orders, family law, and immigration matters.

Our Volunteer Model
- Training: Volunteers receive specialized training in family law, domestic violence advocacy, immigration law, and trauma-informed legal practice.
- Supervision: Every volunteer is paired with a supervising attorney who provides guidance throughout your case, ensuring you have the support you need.
- Resources: Volunteers have access to a wide range of legal manuals, sample pleadings, and expert advice, equipping you with everything needed to represent clients effectively.
