Are you looking for a way to use your law degree? Are you interested in doing pro bono work but don’t know where to start?
DC Volunteer Lawyers Project is a non-profit organization providing free legal and support services to low income domestic violence victims, at-risk children, and vulnerable immigrants. Utilizing an innovative volunteer model, we pair volunteer lawyers with experienced supervising attorneys who are a part of DCVLP’s staff. This model allows DCVLP to broaden its impact and serve over 2,000 victims in our community annually.
We provide everything you need to confidently and competently represent your client, including training, supervision, a pleadings library, malpractice insurance, office space to meet your client, and more. To learn more about how you can join the hundreds of lawyers already volunteering with DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, please join us for a Virtual Open House on June 7th from 12-1pm.
