About The Campaign
Pro bono is defined as doing work for the public good. And that’s exactly what we do at DC Volunteer Lawyers Project.
At DCVLP, pro bono means helping thousands of domestic violence victims, at-risk children, and immigrants escape abuse.
It means providing supervision and guidance to hundreds of volunteer attorneys so, together, we can increase access to justice.
Pro bono means standing up for survivors, because we believe a life free from violence and abuse is a basic human right.
This Pro Bono Week, we will kick off our 2nd annual #ForTheGood campaign with the goal of raising $275,000.
Support DCVLP with a gift that shows what pro bono means to you! All gifts directly support DCVLP’s programs and every $1 donated becomes $6 in lifesaving legal services.
