Everyone here at the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project is still riding high on the success of our Voices Against Violence reception last week. Over 500 supporters, volunteer attorneys and clients gathered at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence to celebrate DCVLP’s work on behalf of domestic violence survivors and at-risk children.

We were thrilled to have Ambassador Caroline Kennedy as our keynote speaker and to honor the law firm, Williams & Connolly, with our 2017 Champion of Justice Award. This exciting evening re-energized us in our shared mission to keep DC families and children safe and thriving in homes free from violence.
