In January 2018, the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project reached a significant milestone; we celebrated a decade of providing high-quality pro bono representation to domestic violence survivors and at-risk children. Just over a decade ago, we started as a handful of attorneys who wanted to use their legal skills to make a difference. Today, we are an army of over 2,100 volunteer lawyers who have provided representation to thousands of domestic violence survivors and at-risk children. Read more here.
