Virtual Court Hearings During COVID-19 for Survivors of Domestic Violence
Ashley Carter, our Equal Justice Works Fellow and Staff Attorney for DCVLP’s court-based Domestic Violence Protection Order Clinic, and Richard Kelley, Managing Attorney for DCVLP’s Immigration and Child Advocacy Programs, have written an informative article for lawyers representing domestic violence victims during the pandemic. Ashley and Richard, in collaboration with other DCVLP staff, helped shape DCVLP’s response to the new procedures implemented by D.C. Superior Court during COVID-19.
